About Me

Christina received her Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2011, and has been practicing in the Edmonton Area ever since. While in university, she completed specialized placements in vocal rehabilitation and the treatment of fluency disorders. Since graduating, she has worked primarily with children, both in one-on-one and classroom based settings. She has a keen professional interest in motor speech disorders, the use of iPad AAC communication systems, and the integration of art, music and dance into SLP practice. Generally speaking, she approaches her work with a playful and uniquely colorful perspective.

In addition to her work as a speech-language pathologist, Christina is an active member of the Edmonton theatre community. She has performed with the Edmonton Opera Chorus for the past nine seasons, and is co-founder of the local indie opera company Pop Goes the Opera. She also frequently performs in musical theatre productions for various local companies.
